Thank you so much for such a motivating and inspiring inset over the last two days.
Just wanted to let you know that we were so enthused that Lisa and I planned our non-fiction lessons on “Amazing Adaptations” in the rainforest as soon as we left the inset, using the non-fiction ideas you modelled.
Looking forward very much to working with you again.

Please contact us to discuss how we can best support you and your school:
Nicky Powell and her team have had a tremendous impact over the last term working on our new curriculum approach and Ice Worlds topic. The school has been transformed in terms of immersive learning environment, which means the children step in to a snowy artic world each day to begin their learning. Staff have been supported in a variety of ways including inspiring INSET to outline the approach, followed by support on medium term planning days where our teachers were introduced to a range of high quality English texts and then guided and challenged to ‘dream big’ to design the topic journeys.
Nicky and the other consultants have ‘hand held’ all the way and helped us to be brave and radically transform the way we teach our whole curriculum. The impact on our children is plain to see. They are fully engaged in their learning, they buzz with excitement during task time and they can talk about their learning in a way they never could before. Most significantly their independence has increased and we are seeing high-quality outcomes in both our foundation subjects and in English writing.
